Why Do Some People Not Relate to Their Zodiac Sign at All?

Because they have been reading the wrong sign, or more precisely, they have been reading only one sign of a chart that has ten planets, twelve houses, and dozens of aspects all operating simultaneously. If you have a Capricorn sun but a Gemini rising and a Sagittarius moon, you will not fully relate to Capricorn sun descriptions because your emotional world is expansive, freedom-loving, and philosophically restless, your presentation is intellectually curious and socially fluid, and the disciplined serious slow-burning Capricorn archetype is in there but it is not the whole story and it is not even the loudest chapter. The people who do not relate to their zodiac sign are almost always people who have a strong rising sign or moon that dominates their chart more than the sun does. They are not exceptions to astrology. They are proof that sun sign astrology was always a simplification.
